This was a a fun session to do...well I needed LOTS of patience but worth it! I just love the look on her face when her little cousin spilt the TEA!! oh my..LOL

And this when she managed to pick a lemon and then wondered if she was aloud to....

what I have been up to in the portrait department.....

Usually July is a quiet month for portraits! But we have been quite busy. It has been great to do some winter sessions with hats and coats (more in the next post). But these ones were in the studio, it is great to be able to do a little of both since we have the luxury of both worlds with having the large acre garden as well.

I had great fun doing this shoot! As these gowns were amazing!

The day after shoot part 1

Here are Mel and Sean as promised, however I might have a couple more to post over the weekend (haven't finished going through them all yet!). Now not many couples would do what these two did and get totally wet in gown and all!!

Cant wait till the next game couple come along as this was so much fun....well for some hehe.

I know I promised post some images from this day after shoot...but but but..well will try tomorrow, as I already had these resized. For the record yes this is a real couple and yes this is Melinda and Sean in their total wedding attire! You ROCK guys!

My son wanted to be part of the action as well and do some shooting..do you love the legs in the air thing..dont know where that came from!

We did this amazing shoot the morning after the wedding and they are hot! Mel actually got in the ocean gown and all, got totally wet, but boy oh boy.....well as I said stay tuned, will try and post them in the next day or 2.

Melinda & Sean in Fiji

OK where do I start with these two love birds?!?

This beautiful couple got married at the Outrigger on the Lagoon in Fiji, I was lucky enough to get flown over there to capture their special day for them. These guys live in Brisbane and booked me without even meeting me!!

So thanks guys I feel real honoured that you picked me!

Even though the day was not a perfect south pacific day (well rained)...but we werent going to let a little rain spoil the day and as you see below we made the best of it no problems. Chris and Kate from Uber Photography ( a great husband & wife team they will have some on their blog soon ( www.uberphotography.com.au) ... Chris took these next 2 as Kate and I were with Mel a couple bures away

More of Viktoriya & Boyd

I promised more of this wedding and a little more about it....
Viktoriya & Boyd got married at Newman Chapel at Melbourne Uni and then on to the Park Hyatt for the reception. So with these 2 great locations I had alot to play with, but the light started to run out fast! However I must say that I really loved the uniqueness (is there such a word??!!) of her gown as it was really suitable for a Melbourne winter wedding (even though the weather was kind to us). Every detail was well thought out and there seemed to be no stone left unturned as there was alot of style and grace at this wedding with the details.
They had this amazing little flowergirl (her niece) that I swear was one of the most well behaved flowergirls I have ever come across and she had these wonderful blue eyes! (mind you so did Viktoriya). She was so sweet and did a great job all day long.

Back from Fiji!

Sorry for all those that were expecting me to post some images while I was in Fiji...hmmm and I didnt I know!
But I was soooo busy taking lots and lots of images of Sean & Mel's wedding...(and the next morning as well!!! wait till you see those ones!) Melinda was a real champ and even jumped into the ocean gown and all and got totally wet!! Just wait till you see those!!!
