Somewhere Over The Rainbow...

Well Vanessa can now officially say she has photographed dresses every colour of the rainbow! Because we had a rainbow bride! This wedding took place up in Sydney on Chinamens beach...and though it was one of the most laid back weddings we have ever photographed it was far from ordinary! For the wedding of Anya and David everything was perfect...and rainbow!
The rainbow theme was evident throughout every detail, the cake, the ribbon veil, the handmade ribbon bouquet (which was just stunning), the umbrellas for the bridesmaid's and the lanterns and ribbon decorations which scattered the beach.

Beauty is pain as Anya demonstrated in the hairdressers

The colourful location for the ceremony

Anya's gorgeous little sister was "shell girl" (she threw shells onto the beach in front of the bride as she walked down the isle instead of flowers)

Anya's mum, Yasmin, get hands on with the decorating!

The bride arrives in her combie van transportation...

Vanessa captured this moment when Yasmin gave her daughter a ring which she had worn on her wedding day.

What an amazing dress

Its obvious how in love these two are!

Vanessa, what an awesome job you've done here.

You and Becs were like camera ninjas! I just never saw you all day, and I've no idea how you got those shots!

But I love them all, and can't wait to see the rest.

Thanks so much,

Yasmin
